The Prince of Day by Ella Young

PRINCE OF DAY

White dawn before sunrise
Wherein the dawn-star dies
When Helios lifts his head,
White dawn and ambient air
Let all the hours be fair
Since night’s star-dust is shed:
Grant me this morn of May
For joyous holiday
Franked with thorn-blossom red.
